The artist collected objects symbolic of care and femininity from her mother’s home, recontextualizing them as vessels of vulva communing in an ambiguous space. The work protests the erasure of female genitalia and the consequence of forming identity without sexuality.
15% of all proceeds will be donated to Project X. Project X is a local non-profit organisation that provides social, emotional, and legal support to sex workers in Singapore. We envision a society where sex workers no longer face violence and discrimination.
